I am majoring in Nutrition Science

Career Goals

My Career goal is to become a Registered Dietitian.

What made you choose this study abroad course?

It is important for my personal growth as it would provide me with an opportunity to learn in a new environment. Interacting with a new culture, particularly for a nutritionist affords invaluable experience with new materials and foods, thus enhancing my professional development. Finally, viewing my world from another cultural spectrum is exciting.

What are your goals for your study abroad experience?

I am very enthusiastic about the program since studying abroad seems exciting. I believe this program will give me an opportunity to develop research that will be influential. I intend to work very hard to achieve the objectives of the program as well as my own goals. I am a multicultural individual and I believe that I will easily fit in with the environment without any problem. The fact that I am culturally tolerant shows that I respect all people and can live peacefully among others.

At the end of the program, what memory do you want to take with you?

By continuously interacting with local people, it will be easy to learn about what they eat and why they eat it. I will collect data and analyze it for future research studies. I also understand my responsibility as a student, which is academic success. Hence, I will fully commit to the same goal throughout the entire program.

What are your hobbies and interests?

I like food, cooking, exercise, outdoor activities, plants, music and hanging out with friends.

What is a fun fact not many people know about you?

I went to Grand Canyon many years ago with my boyfriend. When I walked on the skywalk my legs wouldn’t move anymore because of the glass bridge, my head felt dizzy and it was really scary to look down. I thought I was going to cry!
