Placa de Villa de Gracia

 Plaça de Villa de Gracia

This spot is in located in the Paseig de Gracia area. Pictured is the tall tower in the center. The surrounding area is very open, with lots of trees and sitting space. There are also eating establishments near by and the people in the area were using the space to relax. The area brought lots of sunlight inward making things feel brighter. The locals brought their pets to the spot and it was one of the only locations that we can take a load off. This is definitely on the radar to return to.

Placa  de Lesseps

This is a square area located between Sarria-Sant Gervasi and Garcia, and according to it’s Wikipedia page, it is one of the most heavily transited square in the city. As we arrived to this location, it was very joyful and clean. There was a lot of beautiful greens, a few children, families, and not a single person wearing headphones. There were smiles everywhere, the sky was blue, and full of sunshine. The beautiful part was that we enjoyed the bleachers the most. When we sat down, it felt like you are at a baseball stadium. You feel comfortable, relaxed, and calm. The most excited part of all is the view of the city and the greens. It’s almost like Time Square in New York since you get the view but it’s more relaxing and more greens. This is definitely the spot to return to.

Only 5 minutes walking off the major street, we we able to find this green open space full of sunshine within apartment buildings. Around this small park are plenty of benches for us to take a short break. As we were sitting down, we heard birds singing. The bright green, the light sunshine, and the singing birds somewhat recharged ourselves.
