What made you choose this study abroad course?
The name of the program (Movement, Mood, and the Mediterranean Diet) sparked my interest immediately. I always found interest in learning about health and the importance of a healthy lifestyle, which is why I decided that this program would be a good fit for me.
What are your goals for your study abroad experience?
My goals are to be more open to new opportunities and experiences as they arise; in other words, to be more adventurous and try new things. Another goal I have is to engage with the locals of Barcelona as much as possible because I feel that is one of the best ways to learn about the area, culture, and day-to- day life.
At the end of the program, what memories do you want to take with you?
I want to take as many memories with me as possible, such as the memories I will make meeting new people, memories from all the exciting excursions, and memories of the delicious food.
What are your hobbies and interests?
My hobbies include taking nature walks, reading, working out, and listening to music. Also, I love exploring Chicago, especially when it comes to scoping out the best places to eat.
What is a fun fact now many people know about you?
I have played saxophone for 9 years.
