Major / Minor
Major in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science and Health Promotion
I want to go to grad school to become an Occupational Therapist.
What made you choose this study abroad course?
I chose to study abroad in Barcelona for the Mood, Movement and Mediterranean Diet’s program because I learned about it in my advisor’s office when I first transferred to UIC from community college. Ever since, it has caught my attention and I wanted to be a part of this fulfilling journey with other curious students who want to travel and learn a whole new world.
What are your goals for your study abroad experience?
My main goal is to create new friendships on this program and learn how to get out of my comfort zone.
At the end of the program, what memory do you want to take with you?
The memories I want to take back with me are all the food I will be tasting, the brand new environment I will be exploring and the adventures with new people!
What are your hobbies and interests?
I enjoy going to the movie theater frequently (comedies are my all time favorite), going to the beach with my closest friends, discovering new music, and going on walks with my dog Cherry.
What is a fun fact not many people know about you?
I broke my left hand and sprained my left foot when I was 8 years old at the same time…because I fell off the monkey bars… I have a gross scar to prove it (:
